Jane Austen was a well-known English author. She is mostly praised for her six famous novels. They are: Sense and Sensibility (1811), Pride and Prejudice (1813), Mansfield Park (1814), Emma (1815), Northanger Abbey (1818) and Persuasion (1818).
She was born at the Rectory in Steventon, a little village in Hampshire, England on 16th December 1775. She died only at the age of 41. Within this small period, she published six very popular novels in English literature. She became famous mostly after her death. Her amusing plot and writing style still attracts readers of all age.
